WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP LOCAL ANIMALS AND BIRDS?
- Plant Bee friendly plants in your garden.
- Try not use pesticides and herbicides in your garden.
- Keep a shallow dish of water with rocks and sticks over the surface to allow bees to drink, but not drown, in your garden. This is particularly vital in the hot Summer months
- Plant natives for bees and other insects to hide in during our hot summers and cold winters.
There’s an App for that!
Canberra Nature Map can be used to record these sightings
Frog ID is a fun little app that you can use to help researchers collect information on the frogs in your area.
