Public Parks
The Ginninderry Conservation Corridor
While most of the Conservation Corridor is currently closed a public track is open through the southern end of the Corridor. This track is accessible from The Link building at one end and Shepherd’s Lookout at the other. Members of the public must not enter other areas of the corridor as some areas are currently a working farm, which can cause hazards. It will soon transition to a protected area for regeneration.
It is also possible to continue your walk through to Uriarra Crossing from this location.
The Ginninderry Conservation Corridor is a special place and we encourage you to connect with the Ginninderry Conservation Trust on Facebook to keep up to date with any announcements as it extends over the course of the Ginninderry development!
The Green Link
The Green Link, running through the Strathnairn suburb, is a place for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. It has been strategically situated close to our innovative Flexi Living houses to provide everyone with the opportunity to spend time outside regularly.
Nature Play Canberra has loads of resources that can help you get your family outside www.natureplaycbr.org.au
Your child (and you) might like to use the Nature Play Passport App.
Paddys Park
Ginninderry’s first neighbourhood park, Paddys Park was launched at the end of 2020. It includes sporting facilities such as basketball courts, cricket nets, an open air amphitheatre and picnic areas for residents to enjoy and gather. Bookings are not required to use this park, however if large events are planned you will need to apply to use this public space.
